Join We Stand With Seniors for a meet and greet with filmmaker Sky Bergman and a screening of her critically-acclaimed documentary, “Lives Well Lived,” on February 5, 2019. Immediately following the screening, an expert panel will discuss the policy implications of an aging California and the need for a comprehensive Master Plan for Aging to address the needs of older adults and their families. Lives Well Lived: Celebrating the Secrets, Wit & Wisdom of Age is a feature documentary film by Sky Bergman that celebrates the incredible wit and wisdom of adults 75 to 100 years old who are living their lives to the fullest.
West Health and The SCAN Foundation’s We Stand With Seniors…Will You? nonpartisan, public awareness and education campaign focuses on the specific challenges older adults, their families and caregivers face in accessing high-quality, affordable healthcare, dental care and supportive services, and the cost to the state if these challenges are not addressed.
